About Jaymor
Jaymor School of Dancing was established in Aurora in 1969. It has since then grown to include four studios, a dancewear outlet and over 300 students. Our spacious location at 15 Furbacher Lane also provides dancers with a kitchen, eating and homework tables and comfortable waiting areas for the parents.
Under the direction of owner Nancy Dinner, and a team of fully qualified teachers, the studio has become known for its high level of technique and unique choreography in all disciplines – tap, ballet, jazz, lyrical, modern, musical theater, hip hop and outstanding acrobatic work.
Jaymor’s competitive team, the Aurora Aerials, consists of 60 – 80 dancers who compete regionally each year and have traveled and performed internationally as well. Our annual fundraising events include Mardi Gras in February at DiNardo’s, our Gala performance at Markham Theatre in March and other exciting community projects. We welcome dancers at any level from beginner to advanced to experience the fun and fitness of our dance programmes. We encourage visitors to call or stop by anytime.
